Recently, 8 girls beat up another girl after she posted statements on her myspace account. The girls video-taped it and posted it on You-tube. The beaten girl was unconscious. They are considering trying these girls as adults. What are your thoughts about this? Why do you think these girls were so violent? Should they be tried as adults?

well i dont know how bad they beat her but since it was over something childish I dont think they should be tried as adults i think it all depends on what condition they left the girl in. If it they left her in a seriously bad condition then go ahead chare them but if she she'll be fine in like 2 days then why doesnt the girl's mother sue the 8 other girls?

Wow. I think that these people are really bad and evil and they make me want to say that they should go to jail and suffer for doing that and videotaping it because I think that they are so bad and they have a lot of mental problems when they beat up a girl and videotape it and post it online to show how cool they are. THey are probably just a bunch of brats whose parents give them too much freedom and who probably wish they weren't parents.
I think the 8 girls should be put on trial as adults. The chick they beat up did no harm to them! she only wrote stuff! which in no way should have ended in a fight! for the fact that 8 on 1? That is ridiculious! may be if it was a one on one it wasnt gonna look soo bad as it seem's now! if they wanted to resolve whatever the chick wrote about them on myspace they could have talked about it or message her & ask her wazsup! The fight seem's very unessary! The fact the fact that they beated her sooo badly , that she was unconcious! and they made a video of it! is terrible! They should defanately be tried as adults!!! because they acted as adults and they concious of what they were doing! They should be imprisioned for 5-15yrs!!

These girls probly wont go to jail cause they from rich families and they are white.
I think that these girls are very troubled and have problems with their values. Their parents probably have equally bad and amoral values and will probably bail them out of jail, hire expensive lawyers for them and then do everything they can to help these savages stay out of jail.
Those girls should be tried as adults because they were all arrogant after when the cops were arresting them. They the had the audacity to ask if they can make to the chear leading practice the following morning. One of them actually wanted to know if their face was going to be on T.V. I am not sure which side the parents would be on, but they should be on their own childs side. But they should seriously be beaten back for this. If they want to act like an adult then they should be tried as one. They should also be beaten. There should be a law that if someone is proven to do something to hurt another without them getting hurt first they should get twice as much as the pain as they have projected on to someone else.
